Oscar Schindler was a businessman who comes to Czechoslovakia in order to make Jews work for him in his business of manufacturing cheap goods. Oscar Schindler was the member of of the Nazi Party and wanted the Jews to work for him. All the captive members are made to work at his factory which he achieves by bribing the Nazi officials. In order to make the Jews work, he makes the factory in Plaszow. Schindler made a list of the captives who would work for him. This list meant that the Jews could live and would not be tortured at the concentration camps. All the names that appeared in the list had to work but there was guarantee that they would live. This was a very poignant part in the film. Schindler's list gave them hope and a chance to live. However only those who were very skilled were hired while the rest were sent to the concentration camps. Schindler’s List is written by Steven Zaillian and Thomas Keneally. The music for the movie is given by John Williams. The duration of the movie is 195 minutes. The trailer of the movie helped to draw large number of audiences. The film also got into many controversies. The shooting for the film began in March 1, 1193. Steven Spielberg is very particular about his movie trailers.
