Rani Mukhrjee takes admission in the college. She comes from London and is the daughter of Anupam Kher who is the principal of the college. Shah Rukh Khan falls in love with the gorgeous and beautiful Rani Mukherjee. In the mean time Kajol too realizes that she does not consider Shah Rukh to be just a friend of hers. She is actually in love with him. Complications thus starts between the two. The rest of the film explores how they are reunited.
